Our Story
Green Home Energy Solutions was set up in August 2008 as a trading name for Durrant Electrical and Mechanical Ltd. Our journey began with a vision to revolutionise the way the people of Norfolk power their homes and businesses.
The company was set up to specialise in Photovoltaic Solar Systems using over 23 years of electrical experience in domestic, commercial & industrial backgrounds. Over the years, we have honed our expertise to become Norfolk's longest-standing MCS accredited Solar specialists.
This accreditation is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality and excellence. As a family-run business, we infuse every project with a personal touch, ensuring that each solution is tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. Since then, the company has expanded to include a range of renewable products and services including Battery Storage systems, EV chargers, Biomass maintenance and Antidust wood pellets.

Our latest venture is our partnership with Roofit.solar. An Estonian company that has designed a cutting-edge 2 in 1 integrated solar roof panel that will change the renewable game. We are proud to be a UK distributor and installer of Roofit.Solar.
