Solar PV and Battery Storage Installations at Strumpshaw

What We Did:

We installed a 4.76kWp solar PV system comprising 14 JA Solar 340W panels with a SolarEdge 3000H inverter.  The SolarEdge system allows the customer to monitor PV production, together with how much of this electricity is used by the customer, how much is exported to the National Grid and whether any electricity is imported from the National Grid.

We also installed a Tesla Powerwall with Backup Gateway.  This allows the customer to store excess electricity from the PV system, reducing the amount imported from the Grid.  It also allows the PV system to function during a power cut as well as keeping other electrical appliances operating too.
